Gary and I like to travel and have taken many wonderful trips, the best was last year when we went to Alaska. I have one other son and four grandchildren, and I love to play bridge and prepare family meals.

I have been married to my husband Mick for 33 years. We have four sons, Jason and wife Sandi, Justin and fiance Shannon, Michael, and Danny who left us to be with his Heavenly Father. We live in a very beautiful valley in central B.C. with a 90 mi. long lake, surrounded by orchards and the beautiful Canadian Rockies. Mick has a very successful new home construction firm.

While the boys were growing up, we were very actively involved in their various sports. I have volunteered with the Red Cross Youth Suicide Prevention Program for two years. I am currently interested in alternative healing, both emotional and physical. Since losing Danny, I have become a compulsive poem collector. While I still struggle, I have maintained my faith. My littlest Angel Danny left us a most precious gift of his love and presence for a short 20 years and for that I will always be grateful. The picture is of Mick and I at a recent wedding.

Connie & Maurie Berchem Forest Lake, MN. Mother & Stepfather of Kyle Michael Hill (25) I am 48 years old. Maurie and I have been married for 11 years, he is my rock. I have battled Lung Cancer and have beat the odds. I facilitate a Lung Cancer Support Group. I no longer work. I have a daughter Jessica (age 30) who is married to Chris. They have given us a beautiful granddaughter, Ashley Lynn (15 months) and soon to be Austin Michael in Feb. 2001. We enjoy traveling, fishing, and gardening. Maurie is "Mr. Handy Man", he can do anything he sets his mind to. We lost our precious son Kyle M. Hill on April 5, 2000. We will forever love and miss him so.

Steve and Linda Henley Caldwell, Idaho Father & Stepmother of SCOTT (19) We've been married since September of 1996. Linda is office manager for a chiropractor in town and I work for the Independent Order of Foresters (a family fraternal) as a Fraternal Agent in life insurance and securities. It is what I was doing when Scott died and am really happy to be back with the IOF. We have three cats, a dog, 2 parakeets and a seven foot Python for pets. We enjoy going out in our RV and traveling in our Corvette. We have one daughter (26), one grandson (5) and one son-in-law...a necessary evil to to having a grandson.

Rena Griffin Allen, Texas Mother of Brian Scott (20) I was born and raised in Colorado. At the age of 30, I moved with my boys, Damen (age 23) and Brian (age forever 20) to Nevada. We spent the next 15 years there. A year ago, I moved to Texas with my hubby to start over anew. I am an RN and work in an OB/GYN office. I married my husband, Mark, in l998, so I guess you could say I'm still a newlywed. Mark is in printing sales and spends lots of time on the road. : ( My family also includes my adoptive sister Jane; my birthmom (I just

met her for the first time last year); a half sister, Beth; my son Damen, who is still in Nevada; his daughter Aspen (4 years old) and Brian's son Taylor, who is also 4. Being a granny is just the best! We have a new puppy, a miniature schnauzer, Karma. Brian received his wings on January 22, l999 after a gunshot wound to the head.
